See and hear about how Ærø beer is brewed today, as a craft - and taste a wide spectrum of Ærø lagers and ales. See a historic brewery on Ærø from the end of the 19th century. We tell you about the history of the buildings - and the upheavals in the operations leading up to beer production at Ærø Bryggeri today. Almost daily wort is produced for the fermentation tanks and the history of Ærø beer is a story of quality and craftsmanship. There will be tastings of several of our special beers along the way. The palette of flavors spreads over a few dozen lager and ales - therein lies a conventional as well as organic series. We will tell the story of who we are, what modern beer and beer brewing are, who Ærø brewery sells to and a little about how you as a professional beer taster can evaluate a beer you see and taste for the first time. It will be possible to buy our beer in the brewery shop - as they say on Ærø “Tag arreøl'n mæ a 'ø'n”. Duration: approx. 75 min

Brigsted Boulevard and Grill Buffet

Brigsted Boulevard is visiting us again this year for Blues and Barbecue in the Brewery Garden. If you want a delicious barbecue and salad buffet this day, please reserve this page in advance. Then it is paid and you can go directly to the buffet. The buffet includes a little variety on the grill and some delicious salads. If you just want to drink a cold draft beer and listen to some good music, you can just swing by. There will be music with breaks and lunch from 12.00-15.00 We look forward to seeing you.

Livret's Eve with Peter Hansted

The “Livret Eve”, an evening that combines delicious food, good stories and community. \ A special guest is invited who, in addition to having determined the menu in the form of their favorite dish, will also tell a little about their journey or a special event We sit at long tables and walk by each other. We always start the evening with a welcome beer, which is presented by the brewery. This evening you have the opportunity to dine with Peter Hansted and hear anecdotes from a long life as Prime Minister's son, agricultural employee, tavern keeper, food master, brewery director and current mayor Peter has chosen as his favorite court\ Welcome beer — Dark ale with Prosecco\ Forloren hare with lovely brown sauce, potatoes, waldorf salad, currant jelly and sour. \ Dessert: lemon fromage and coffee

Communal Dining February

Communal dining is an evening for all Ærøhabitants, visitors to the island and other good people. We sit at long tables and walk by each other. We always start the evening with a welcome beer, which is presented by the brewery. You are always welcome to invite in with a feature, community song, etc. Please contact Thyra in advance. *This evening a simmered dish is served: pig in beer with apples and cabbage, herewith a mashed potato. * If you are vegetarian, we are happy to make a version without meat, we just need to know it no later than the day before (call +4530125615 or send an email cafe@aeroebryggeri.dk).

About Ærø Bryggeri

Ærø Bryggeri — Aeroe Brewery A/S — is a microbrewery that sees it as its mission to contribute to the refinement of beer culture in Denmark.

Ærø brewery is beautifully located in the village of Store Rise, in the middle of Ærø. Ærø Bryggeri was originally established in 1926 in the now historic buildings that were built as a dairy back in 1880. After the change from milk to hops, beer brewing continued right up until 1962, when Ærø Bryggeri bottled its last beer. Only in 2004 did the brewery reopen as a limited company and therefore put Ærø back on the map with its good tasty beer.

But quality is also how Ærø Bryggeri is included as a company in the local community of Ærø. We believe that a company has a great local responsibility, and it is, therefore, natural for us to contribute to the relation in which we are a part. If it goes well for Ærø, it goes well for Ærø Bryggeri.
